Terms of Service

Effective October 7, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Task List Colors ("the extension"), a free browser extension that colors Google Tasks in Google Calendar by task list. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the extension.

The extension

The extension runs in your browser. It reads your Google Tasks with read-only access to show each task in its list's color in Google Calendar, and lets you show or hide task lists. It is provided free of charge. There is no account to create and no paid plan.

Your Google account

Acceptable use

Use the extension only with Google accounts you are authorized to use, and don't use it to interfere with Google's services or to access data that isn't yours.

Third-party services

The extension works with Google Calendar and Google Tasks, which are provided by Google LLC under Google's own terms. The extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Google. Google may change its services at any time, which can cause the extension to stop working until it is updated.

Source code

The extension's source code is available at github.com/Psychemm/TaskPlus. These terms cover your use of the extension. Any license published in that repository governs copying, modifying or redistributing the code.

No warranty

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. There is no guarantee that it will be error-free, always available, or compatible with future versions of Google Calendar.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the extension. The extension only reads your tasks and cannot change or delete them.

Changes and termination

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the extension at any time by removing it from your browser. The extension may be changed or discontinued at any time.
